Andy Hansen is well experienced in the art of a Town Crier. He has been the escort to Judy Jewell, the Town Crier of Anacortes, for the last four years.

In November of last year, he wrote a letter to La Conner Mayor Eron Berg extolling the advantages of a Town Crier for the Town. The Mayor jumped at the opportunity and Andy was appointed last December.

He has been working within the town with the Chamber of Commerce in our efforts to promote tourism.

While most of his cries have been for the Town of La Conner, he has also performed for some of the local service clubs and has done commercial cries.
